Freetube has an outstanding 50+ assortment of channels. Ehem, let me explain.
Free it is and while there are web cams, feeds, and other local gov/college channels, it does claim to have channels like ESPN, Discovery Channel, and The Movie Channel. Be ready for 30 seconds of adverts, stuttering video, and channels that are just not working.
My experience there was so-so. The Home Depot Channel was working (give me a break, I’m trying very hard to be positive here). They had just done some upgrades, and although the picture wasn’t anywhere near HD, it was watchable at a desk, for instance, if you weren’t interested in the picture much.
Hey nice write up. I found this site a few weeks back and only got a chance to really digg deep and start using it, and I was really impressed. It’s free so I’m no concerned about the quality..but it’s pretty good considering that I used to think YouTube videos were high quality.
I’ve seen a few other sites, but this one pretty much takes the cake, I just hope it stays up.
