podcast, iptv, vidcast directory

Podcast Pickle is a great site.  There’s no argument there.

One vidcast in particular that I like is Kidcast.tv – Free Children’s IPTV Network.  They do things that I have often wanted to do, like take apart a cell phone.  It is much less cost-prohibitive to watch this vidcast than to do it yourself. ;)

Good, Clean and Fun?

Good

I know why people blog; it is free therapy. Turn off the commenting and it’s therapy without criticism.  In that light, I wish blogging wasn’t so popular.

Clean

Feature Films For Families makes their own films with the highest degree of moral responsibility. For the majority of you out there that have no idea what that means, let me explain. No: nudity, profanity, innuendo, graphic violence, sensuality, sexuality, or even the hint of sinful undertones in any shape or form. What these films do have are: more mainstream actors than you think, talented unknown actors, great story lines, and (gasp!) morals to the stories. I think the best feature on this site is the detailed critique of main stream films. Check out your kids favorite or yours and I think you will be surprised at their estimation of the films rating.

Fun?

Galaxiki is unique, true. But fun? This takes being a Sci-fi buff to a different level. This is a place where budding science fiction writers can show off their stuff and hitchhikers everywhere can corroborate on their travels. I’d rather just go to Astronomy picture of the day.

Forbidden Lego

Cover of Forbidden LegoIf you ever played with Legos as  child, you remember the thrill of creating something.  Since my childhood, Legos have come a long way, from simple blocks to space stations to robotics.  But  Forbidden Lego  takes Legos to a new level of mischievousness with projectile firing just to start.   Check out this book (yes, a real made-of-paper book!) and you are sure to feel like a kid again – only better because now you can play with things like fire and power tools without getting grounded.

The Beta Fetish Fix For the Day: Protopage

Add this site to your Protopage

If you have a beta (and I don’t mean fish) fetish like I do, you may have come across this http://protopage.com/v2 .  Absolutely fabulous.

Plus, I picked up a few new (to me) podcasts and vidcasts that I am currently getting an earful of so that I can write about them.  I have taken a decidedly twisted turn into sploiting lately and have also become obsessed with 600613.  Would it be okay if I started reviewing other streams not on iTunes….?  And since when have I ever asked permission for anything?  Ha.

Admit it, you need me.
